Born in Milan in 1960, Marco Corti is an esteemed Italian architect and designer who graduated in architecture from the Polytechnic University of Milan in 1987. He began his career collaborating with leading Italian design and furniture companies, including Tecno, Cappellini, and B&B Italia, gaining extensive experience in product, interior, and furniture design.
In 2001, Corti founded Kemistry of Style in Milan, a design studio focused on creating refined and functional solutions for contemporary interiors. He specializes in the furniture sector, designing a diverse range of products including beds, sofas, tables, poufs, and other furnishings. His work is distinguished by meticulous attention to detail and a harmonious balance of practicality, simplicity, and elegance, often combining clean lines, sharp angles, and distinctive curves.
Corti expanded his international presence by opening a base in Switzerland and an office in Singapore in 2007. Over the years, he has worked on numerous architecture and interior design projects across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, including residential complexes, apartments, villas, hotels, shops, and restaurants. His design philosophy centers on anticipating evolving needs and creating elegant, practical solutions that enhance everyday living and quality of life. Alongside his professional practice, Corti has also contributed to design education by lecturing at Italian universities.
