Claudio Dondoli & Marco Pocci met at the Faculty of Architecture in Florence, before founding their design studio in 1983 in Colle Val D'Elsa, Tuscany. Rooted in a shared background of architecture, fine arts, and theater, the duo transitioned their focus exclusively toward industrial design in 1989.

Dondoli and Pocci operate on the principle that true design innovation stems from a deep mastery of materials and modern technology. Rejecting technology as a mere cosmetic tool, they prioritize functionality, usability, and mass-market accessibility. Their guiding philosophy dictates that a truly successful product must balance three core pillars: visual beauty, functional effectiveness, and physical comfort.

Renowned for their expertise in plastic injection molding and contemporary seating, they create clean, ergonomic, and durable furniture for leading international brands, including Ligne Roset, Cinna, Bonaldo, Desalto, Pedrali, and Fasem.
