Product: Soho Keramik Premium Round Dining Table

The round tables of the Soho family are iconic and sculptured, a real piece of architecture in the living room. Key items in the room, this modern table places form at the service of function and adapts perfectly to the quality of the raw materials, for a spectacular result. In the Soho Keramik version, the graphic and essential steel base supports a top in refined shades of Marmi ceramic.

The Soho Ker-Wood model, on the other hand, is created from an unprecedented combination of precious woods and the original ceramic insert.

Origin: Italy

Paolo Cattelan - BrogliatoTraverso

Paolo Cattelan is a Veneto man through and through, fascinated by life and passionate about his work. He joined the company in 1994 to manage the Italian market and after just three years he had expanded his remit to include the overseas market, where he achieved outstanding results, particularly in the United States and Asia. Internationality is an integral part of Cattelan Italia’s DNA and Paolo perfected the family’s strategy by strengthening the business model for the overseas market. This was more than just insight; it was a desire to do business without belying his ideas.

Over the years Paolo’s flair for business merged with the desire to study and learn more about different design trends. With his entrepreneurial experience and understanding of the markets, Paolo embarked on a creative journey that instinctively led him to create products that are essential yet imbued with innovative technology. Paolo Cattelan is fuelled by adrenaline; he studies statistics, but then turns them on their head; he loves the sea, but keeps his feet firmly on the ground. His greatest passion is for his family.

After graduating in Architecture from Venice University, Italy and various experiences – from learning how to blow glass in Murano to working traditional ceramics in Japan – Alberto Brogliato and Federico Traverso founded BrogliatoTraverso design studio in 2014.Their approach to design is called ‘NO TIME, NO SPACE’ and refers to their will to make objects with a timeless design that fits any context.BrogliatoTraverso work by subtracting, creating a detailed sign, but almost invisible. With these finely hinted forms, their creations establish deep intimate empathy with the users and their surroundings, respecting both of them.Their fine simplification process delivers projects addressing the needs of consumers and made for various companies, including Magis, Cappellini, Guzzini, Infiniti, Il Fanale/Torremato and more. These partnerships have won the studio many international awards, including ADI Index, the Red Dot Design Award, German Design Award, iF Design Award and Good Design Award.
