The Petra armchair originates from a precise design gesture: its harmonious form is built on a continuous line that flows from the backrest to the armrests. Each curve accompanies the next with balance and fluidity, creating an enveloping profile. This continuity is not only aesthetic but also functional: the backrest provides ergonomic support, while the generous seat offers deep, relaxed comfort. The shell is conceived as a compact body, while the painted metal base introduces a thin, light graphic element that visually lifts the upholstered volume. Petra is an armchair designed to be lived in: perfect for a sophisticated living room, an intimate reading area, or a refined hospitality environment.

E-ggs is an interdisciplinary Italian design firm founded in 2013 by Gaia Giotti, Giona Scarselli, Cristina Razzanelli, and Erica De Candido. With diverse backgrounds in architecture and design, the team brings together different perspectives and expertise to create distinctive solutions across product design, interiors, and architecture.

E-ggs collaborates with renowned international brands, including Bontempi Casa, creating a range of furniture and lighting products such as tables, sideboards, and light fixtures. Since 2018, the four designers have also shared their expertise as Product Design instructors at IED Florence, contributing to the development of the next generation of designers.
