Enio Calosi and Amedeo De Maria are an accomplished Italian design duo whose work brings together architectural expertise, artistic expression, and contemporary furniture design. The two designers have collaborated extensively over the years, creating furniture that combines functionality, refined aesthetics, and practical solutions for modern interiors.
Enio Calosi graduated in architecture in Florence, where his experimental thesis, “Mechanics in Furnishings,” reflected his interest in the technical and functional aspects of furniture design. He later established his own consultancy, working with furniture and prefabrication companies as a designer of furniture and interiors.
Amedeo De Maria graduated from an Artistic High School and initially pursued a career as a painter, participating in both solo and group exhibitions. Following his university studies, he expanded his creative practice into design. The interplay between art and design forms the foundation of his creative approach, bringing an expressive and artistic perspective to functional products.
Together, Calosi and De Maria create distinctive furniture that balances technical innovation, artistic character, practicality, and contemporary style. Their collaborations with prestigious Italian brands, including Bontempi Casa, have further established their presence in the furniture and design industry.
