Product: Aperitivo Coffee Table

Aperitivo is an Italian thing. No other nation could make that after-work, pre-meal drink and snack an event, and that is what it is, an event. A way to take stock of the day, to decompress, to relax, and yet to converse. To share ideas or to enjoy the company of others or your thoughts.

It is inherently Italian because it is what we do well: making moments, igniting conversations, and discussing what’s on the menu afterwards—socially and culinarily. So how do we translate this into design? How do we symbolise through design our culture? Materials and forms that personify elegance.

Mauro Lipparini goes even further. Marble tops, built-in ice buckets, swooping lines, and form, function, and practicality meeting high-end design. This is conversation, ideas, and elegance, a culture and design in unison.

  • Marble is characterized by porosity and cracking that, during the manufacturing process, are filled with special resins or inserts in the same material.
  • After the polishing, the surface may present irregularities and natural microholes, which, however, do not compromise the solidity of the product.
  • For the correct maintenance of all marble surfaces, it is recommended to use neutral detergents and no degreasers or corrosive detergents. Acid substances may spoil the polished marble surface.
  • It is also recommended to avoid contact with liquids and acid food and to remove immediately these substances if they accidentally come in contact with the surface.
